Defense: mix

An attacked piece can be defended in four ways:

• Moving away: you move the attacked piece to a safe square.
• Blocking or interposing: you place another piece between the attacking piece and the piece that is being attacked.
• Capturing: you capture the attacking piece.
• Protecting: you guard the piece that is under attack.
